TempZap Update April 2026: Two New Domains Added & Faster Content Delivery

Welcome to the April 2026 TempZap platform update. Whether you're using TempZap regularly to protect your main email account from unwanted messages or if you're one of the developers working on email-related projects, we just wanted to let you know that our systems are always working in the background.

In this update, we would like to talk about:

  • 🚀 The introduction of two new domain extensions to our system.
  • ⚡ The upgrade of our Content Delivery System (CDS) for fast inbox load times.
  • 📊 The statistics of our performance over the past 30 days.

Let's take a look at the changes that we have made and how they will help to protect your privacy.

1. New Domains Added: @mailzap.store and @termsgen.site

One of the most difficult situations for every temporary email provider is the so-called "cat and mouse" situation when some websites have blocklists containing addresses from the "disposable domains." Although we defend user privacy as much as possible, we still understand that people have the right to use their data in whatever way they like.

That is why to help you to register on any site without encountering the "Invalid Email Domain" problem, we introduce a regular rotation and addition of new domains to our system. Starting from April 9, 2026, we announce two new aliases available to use at TempZap:

đź›’

@mailzap.store

A catchy, modern domain using the .store TLD — perfect for e-commerce and free trial signups.

📜

@termsgen.site

A discreet, professional domain — blends in seamlessly with legal and documentation sites.

How to Use the New Domains

You don’t have to worry about doing anything differently! The new domain names have already been added into the random address generator located on the home page. Clicking “Generate New Address” will allow the algorithm to generate these new options within the random selection process. You will find them popping up organically in the dropdown or randomly generated address list.

Or, if you would like to choose your own domain name manually, all you have to do is click the dropdown arrow next to the address field in the TempZap interface and pick one of the two new options.

Why These Domains Matter for Your Privacy

Using a new domain such as @mailzap.store or @termsgen.site would usually circumvent any overzealous filtering of the older temp mail domains. It's essentially a brand new chance. In choosing these two, we did it considering the following reasons:

  • The @mailzap.store uses the TLD extension .store, which is widely accepted on e-commerce websites and looks perfectly normal to use in creating accounts to sign up for offers or to try out their products.
  • The @termsgen.site uses the TLD extension .site, which is among the most common gTLDs and seldom receives a notification on forms that it is considered "disposable".

If you have experienced difficulties signing up using your previous address on a certain website, it is best advised that you use our newly released domains with our current robust infrastructure to make us the best temp email provider.

2. Content Delivery System Upgrade: Faster Inbox Refresh

Did you ever realize that there is some kind of delay while looking for the verification code? We value all your input, and some of the power users have pointed out their desire for a more "real-time" experience. The engineering team working on the backend side made some major changes to our CDS system this month.

What Changed Under the Hood?

Before, the TempZap inbox would reset its connection with the mail server after every 10-15 seconds by means of a simple HTTP request. This arrangement sufficed for most people, except that there was a delay from the time the message was sent by the organization until it popped up on your computer.

We have switched over to an advanced polling technique using WebSocket, which has improved database indexing. Without delving into technicalities, this means the following for you:

MetricBefore (Q1 2026)After Update (April 2026)
Average Email Delivery Time8.2 seconds3.1 seconds
Inbox UI Refresh Rate15 seconds (fixed)Dynamic (near-instant)
Server Load EfficiencyBaseline22% Reduction

What does this all mean? That means when the website prompts "Check your email for the code," you really can sit back and watch the code show up in your inbox instantly. No need to repeatedly refresh anything anymore. And this makes it even easier to use the OTPs that last for 2-3 minutes only.

Update to "Contact Us" and Support Messaging

In addition to improving our infrastructure, we have also improved our messaging queue internally. The Contact Us page has been added to the same highly available cluster. Should you wish to contact us for a request regarding the Custom Domain and Partnerships (as mentioned in our Custom Domain Guide), you will receive a quicker response than before.

3. Platform Stability & Uptime Report (March 2026)

Transparency is key. Though we enjoy adding features to our tools, the most important indicator of success is reliability. How helpful would a service be if you couldn’t access your password reset emails while the system is down?

The following is a report on our self-recorded reliability over the past month (March 2026):

Overall Service Uptime (March)
99.98%
Scheduled Maintenance: 12 minutes
Unplanned Outages: 0 minutes

0.02% of downtime means 9 minutes of scheduled maintenance, conducted during off-peak times (3:00 AM UTC) to ensure application of security updates. This is a perfect rate for a totally free product, and we aim at maintaining this record.

What We're Working on Next

Looking ahead to May and June 2026, the roadmap includes:

  • Enhanced Attachment Sandboxing: Deeper scanning of PDF files for malicious scripts before they reach the Preview pane. (Related: How to Download Attachments Safely).
  • Dark Mode UI Toggle: A highly requested feature for night-time users.
  • Additional Domain Rotation: We aim to add 1-2 new domains per quarter to stay ahead of blacklists.
