TempZap is a free temporary email service designed to protect your privacy and reduce spam. These Terms apply to all users, including those who simply generate a temporary email address and those who create an optional account.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TempZap. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that you have parental or legal guardian consent. The Service is not intended for children under 13.

3. Description of Service

TempZap provides temporary, disposable email addresses that allow you to receive emails (including verification links, OTP codes, and account activation messages) without using your personal email address. Emails received are stored for a maximum of 48 hours, after which they are automatically and permanently deleted. You cannot recover deleted emails.

The Service is provided "as is" and is intended for legitimate privacy protection, spam avoidance, and testing purposes.

4. Optional User Accounts

You are not required to create an account to use the basic temporary email service. However, we offer optional free accounts that allow you to access additional temporary email domains. When you create an account, you must provide a username and a password. We do not ask for your real name, email address, or any other personal information.

Account Responsibilities: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use TempZap for any unlawful or abusive purpose. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:

  • Illegal Activities: Creating accounts for fraud, identity theft, or any criminal offense; using temporary emails to facilitate phishing, scams, or distribution of malware; violating any local, national, or international law.

  • Spam and Bulk Use: Using TempZap to send unsolicited bulk emails (spam) or to automate account creation for spam purposes; attempting to overload our systems with automated requests.
  • Fraudulent Activities: Creating fake accounts for financial gain, such as exploiting referral programs, bonuses, or free trials through deception; impersonating others or providing false identity information.
  • Circumventing Our Terms: Attempting to bypass our expiration limits, IP blocks, or other technical protections; using scripts or automated tools to generate an excessive number of temporary addresses.
  • Commercial Exploitation: Reselling or commercially exploiting the Service without our written permission.

We reserve the right to block IP addresses, domains, or users associated with any prohibited activity.

7. Monitoring and Enforcement

To keep TempZap safe and reliable, we employ:

  • Automated detection – systems that flag suspicious activity, such as rapid address generation or known abuse patterns.
  • Manual review – our team investigates reported abuse and may audit usage.
  • Domain management – we maintain clean domains; if a domain is abused, we may retire it to protect overall service quality.

If we determine that you have violated these Terms, we may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Issue a warning.
  • Temporarily or permanently block your IP address or access.
  • Disable specific temporary email addresses.
  • Delete your optional account.
  • Report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.

8. Reporting Abuse

If you encounter misuse of TempZap, or if you believe a temporary email address generated by our service is being used for harmful purposes, please report it to us.

However, you own the content of the emails you receive via our Service, subject to our automatic deletion policy. You grant us a limited license to store and display those emails to you temporarily.

10. No Warranties

TempZap is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the Service, or the accuracy, reliability, or timeliness of any emails received. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

We specifically disclaim any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TempZap and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of accounts on third-party services, or loss of privacy, arising from your use or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Because temporary emails are automatically deleted after 48 hours and cannot be recovered, you assume full responsibility for any consequences of losing access to those emails.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TempZap and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Governing Law
